Instructions are illegible

Item arrived in good condition. Found the instructions very confusing and written by a non-English speaker. I was able to set the timer but couldn't figure out how to set the timer mode from MIN; SEC can change to hours: MIN. The product may have been defective but the instructions were extremely difficult to understand. Typical of many goods manufactured abroad. You would think that they would spend a few dollars and get instruction from a native speaker.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Functionality

I run a large restaurant

I have had several multitimers and they are very expensive to order when they break over time. I was concerned about the price for fear that it would be cheap or not last long. I was very surprised at the quality; it is at least as reliable as timers that cost twice as much. The settings are easy to adjust, but keep the instructions in case you have a cook who can't figure it out. I really like the volume settings, from pretty low to "Somebody turn that damn thing off!" I'm very happy with this

FINALLY a 'loud' timer that is actually LOUD

We've tried over 10 different timers that claim to be 'LOUD' and they were all rubbish. We couldn't hear most of them because of the machines in the store, some forgot their timer after use, others rushed to reset the time. This yooyist is AMAZING. So loud we had to cover half of the tiny hole on the back with tape, which is cheap and easy. It's easy to turn down one, it's hard to turn up the other. Setup is very easy, starting and stopping is simple and intuitive. If necessary, you can change…

Good and Bad

The good news is that this is a very strong, durable and attractive four element timer. You can set the alarm level: the loudest will sound like a fire alarm, which is useful in a busy kitchen. The bad news is that it's difficult to set the time! Two time settings can be set for each timer (e.g. minutes and seconds or hours and minutes) and you toggle back and forth to set that time. You can also set the "Check" time. However, I've had it for a month now and I'm still having a bit of a hard…

Overall good but beware of the trap

Instructions could be better. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use and works well. There is one pitfall you should be aware of. While adjusting the volume, press the up and down arrows. If you do this when the timer fails, it will beep every time you press it to tell you the volume. Turning the volume all the way down still beeps at the lowest volume, but you really just turn the beep off and hear nothing when the alarm goes off. So be careful not to turn the volume down…

100% worth your money.

This timer is essential for keeping track of tasks like housework and cooking. It's impossible to forget when to take the laundry out of the dryer when the timer is up. The volume of each timer is adjustable. I recommend just playing around with the timer as you press each key. You should be able to learn the button logic fairly easily. The build quality is first class. No problems in this department. The only downside, albeit a small one, is that it's difficult to install. Of course you can…

Look mom, no batteries!

Although I found it a bit awkward to mount on the wall, the timer worked flawlessly for several months. It was also easy to figure out how to set it up. But in exchange for a little effort, I got rid of my battery powered timers (the time of which depends on how the batteries feel) and the spring-loaded timer (which I kept but no longer use). No need to change batteries anymore. No more burned food because the spirited timer wouldn't go off or because it was so quiet I couldn't hear it anywhere

Oh boy. :) on Timers

* * * Update: * * * We just used this timer in production and it's perfect for our purposes. Its design once resulted in my not-so-technical partner accidentally pressing a button (the DOWN button, no doubt) which caused the alarm not to go off when the timer was running; This leads me to believe that the volume change function should somehow be placed one level down in the controls so that this can't happen through an accidental button press, as a failed alarm can very easily result in the…
