Exceptional holding power!

This magnetic aluminum workholding device really stood out to us in our Industrial and Scientific tool usage.Based on our own experience, we found it to be extremely reliable, able to securely hold onto a variety of materials with strength that remained stable even during heavy use. The only downside we found was that it's not ideal for use on non-magnetic materials. Overall, we highly recommend this product for anyone in search of a dependable and robust workholding tool..

Pros
  • Exceptional holding power, reliable
Cons
  • Not ideal for non-magnetic materials.

Strong Hold - Yost Vises MA 360

As a result of using this magnetic aluminum workholding tool i found that it securely holds my workpieces in place and prevents unnecessary movement during drilling or cutting. The strong magnetism ensures stability and accuracy, and the lightweight design makes it easy to move around my workspace. However, it may not be suitable for heavy-duty projects that require a larger surface area..

Pros
  • Strong hold, lightweight design.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for heavy-duty projects.

More frustrating than helpful

The magnets are so weak they keep falling off when adjusting the vise and I usually spend that much time with reinstalling everything like real work. Likewise, the surface of the jaw is relatively small and only supports light work.

Pros
  • A magnetic backing runs the length of the cap to attach it securely to the vise clamp
Cons
  • Some bugs
