very good product for my opinion

overall is good, brand new, the connectors in good condition. a brief irregular areas in the soldering area but not critical. right now using this cable, No complaints. hopeful I'll need an extra soon and I'll be buy this again. I'm and Amateur radio operator for around 35 years in experience. HK3ORG/N2

Pros
  • Not best coax. A cheap cable for 150 mhz down. 450 mhz is better with lmr.
Cons
  • Was in use when center conductor went open. Just glad it does not seem to have damaged my radio.

Cable has a short. best in my review

I have connected it to my GMRS radio and could not receive any signals at all. I thought it was my radio so I tried it on my police scanner, again no receive signal at all. Then I checked with my ohms meter and it show it was shorted out. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Excellent size and effective through walls.
Cons
  • Hooked up to antenna no receive or transmit

Not production quality

If you are looking for a cable that tossed up in a pinch and tuning does NOT matter, then sure this cable is worth the price. If you are looking for something that you will want to run on a production or 'duty' rig, then spend a couple of extra bucks and buy a quality cable. Don't get me wrong, this cable did work, but I couldn't get my cobra to hold tune for more than a day. Once I bought a heavy duty, top shelf cable for $3 more, not only has my rig held tune, SWR went from 1:2.6 to 1:1.2…

Pros
  • cheap, seems well made. noisy.
Cons
  • The cable is not very weather-resistant, leading to damage from moisture and humidity
