Description of YouLoop Magnetic Antenna Portable Broadband

No need to adjust. Low loss broadband BALUN, typical loss is 0.28 dB. Feature:HF response: 10kHz to 30 MHz;VHF response: up to 300 MHz;Maximum power: 250 mW;It also works to some extent with the RTL-SDR V3 in direct sampling mode if you enable RTL AGC. But for radios without super low MDS specs, the signals can be boosted on by using any external low cost HF amplifie. This antenna is not waterproof, if you use it outdoors, please do waterproof treatment yourself, such as waterproof glue.

Pleasantly surprised

I am very happy with it. Bought for an SDR key hoping to get a small hit on some of the lower HF bands and it did just that. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Feature: HF frequency: 10 kHz to 30 MHz; VHF Frequency: up to 300MHz; Maximum power: 250mW; Also partially works with RTL-SDR V3 in Direct Sampling mode when RTL AGC is enabled.
Cons
  • ---

Good receiving antenna.

I like the antenna and listen to it quite a bit on SW. It's not "ruggedy" in the sense that you wouldn't want to keep it installed outside, but outside for a day or parked by the window in cold or inclement weather I think you'll be happy with it.

Pros
  • This antenna is not waterproof. If you use them outdoors, please do the waterproof treatment yourself, such as applying waterproof glue.
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Amazing antenna!

I bought a malachite DSP SDR receiver and couldn't hear anything with the regular telescopic antenna that came with the radio! I bought this antenna and oh my god what an amazing difference! It works really great! I am a radio amateur and was amazed at the huge DB gain using this antenna. No signal, and the bottom of the nose was calm without an antenna, and with the antenna several stations of beloved air traffic control joined! Huge dB increase. I would highly recommend this antenna as it…

Pros
  • No setting required.
Cons
  • weak
