These are what you would expect, anodized cable lugs. The colors I received are exactly the same as in the picture. Installation: Cut off the old cable (unless you are using a new cable) and crimp the end of the new cable onto the cable. It is so easy.

I work a bit on bikes. I repair and restore bikes for family and friends. I now use these colored cable lugs throughout. Relatives and friends like it when the color of the bead matches the color of the bike.

I wanted to brighten up the color of my bike and my friend's bike and that came to mind. 7 different colors and made of aluminum alloy. I will use them for the brake and shifter cables. You can never have enough crimp terminals for cable ends!

They look very pretty in the pouches they come in, but don't hold up that well when actually crimped. The size is somewhere between the brake cable and derailleur crimp cable. The metal is thin and very soft. They break very easily, but instead of shrinking into a nice shape, they flatten out and crack on the sides. And when anodizing, micro-cracks appear, so they look dull after crimping. If they weren't so expensive ($9.99) I wouldn't complain, but they cost a lot more than non-anodized ones…
