Good bike discs for pedals.

Correct size. Very flat and round. It looks like stainless steel. Solves bike fit issues. Accessible. Available next day.

Pros
  • Correct performance
Cons
  • Null

Just what I needed

I strongly believe that spacers should be on every pedal. This is especially true for carbon fiber cranks. The additional contact area eliminates stress on the threads and better locks the pedal in place. For some reason it is difficult to find seals in the aftermarket. Regular washers are too thick to fit properly in the threaded bushing. They fit all my bikes.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Basic but important part. Slightly soft

This is a must have if you want a good crankset and want to use cheaper pedals. Cheap flangeless pedals ending in a sharp edge on a nut cut into the soft aluminum of the crank. I had to use two on each pedal to keep the pedal axle nut from eating the spacer and moving out far enough to damage the aluminum on my cranks. I wish the shims were a little stiffer, but there are no issues with adding an extra one and doesn't affect the Q-factor enough to make a difference.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
