📄 Yupo Paper White Sheets, 9x12, 10 count - L21-YUP197W912 Review

There is no better paper for watercolor or alcohol ink. Here are some of my examples made on Yupo paper. The non-porous nature will not allow the ink to bleed through and you will get plenty of movement and brilliance from using this paper.

Yupo is a plastic backing for art. It doesn't absorb at all, so while watercolor and acrylic work, they work differently. I like using it with alcohol ink, it makes great abstracts. You have to give up the idea of control, but that's just part of trying something new. Also ideal for markers.

I saw this on one of the blogs I followed and didn't follow the instructions. You should not touch the paper with bare hands, otherwise it will not work properly. After watching the YouTube video, I tried again and liked the results. Will definitely use the technique in the future. It came on time.

It says that it is suitable for alcohol ink. It is assumed that you can use both sides. It's not like you can see you're using the same Yupo front and back. One side clearly works like a yupo but bleeds from behind. The other side is definitely not repulsive. Bought 2 packs of this paper. Wasted money and ink. I wanted to post pictures but am not sure how.

Bought one Yupo block of each size to try something different and encourage drawing. I've spent a lot of time working with watercolors to create a few paintings worth saving. You will not hesitate to touch the paper with a brush, Yupo forgives mistakes, easily corrects mistakes, or experiments and completely new. These yupo pads are good, but the artist needs practice. Next time I try an artist block I'll try acrylic on Jupo. It's different, but it stimulated my painting.

I used alcohol ink on other surfaces like tile and cardboard. I've also used them with resin but never used Yupo paper. I was curious and wanted to try it and holy cow I am totally impressed with this product. I am currently awaiting an answer to a question before deciding to purchase more.
