Cools my mini pc much better

I only had one goal for this fan. Cool down the mini pc that got hot. Damn, the idle temperature was almost 50 degrees, under load or even with the Windows update it rose to 90 degrees. So I removed the cover, put this fan on it, plugged it into the USB port and the VIOLA cooled down immediately. I ran Cinebench on the Mini to load it up and with this fan the temperature dropped about 25 degrees. I hit 66c and my mouth dropped. WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE. What's good is that this fan has grilles onโ€ฆ

Bright LED, moderate airflow

This is a decent fan. It moves a decent amount of air and is fairly quiet, but the airflow could be better. The blue LED is quite bright and cannot be dimmed or switched off. I like the convenience of USB. Not bad for the money but I've tried better.

Basic but about what you need

Tried to find a fan to blow fumes off me while soldering. You can buy small camping fans. They work but tend to be large or not very stable. There is nothing special about this fan. It is a metal box and a 5V fan, so USB voltage. But very stable. It is quiet. It's hard to tell if you need that amount of breeze. When I solder, it moves enough air that I feel like I'm not breathing in any toxins. I use lead solder. It would be nice if it had two speeds or maybe a dial. I don't think it'sโ€ฆ

It doesn't get any cheaper

This is a kind of self-build with a USB pigtail and a couple of glued LEDs with prefabricated grids that are screwed on. Anyone can assemble an almost identical device, but not at this price point. It moves a fair amount of air - about what you'd expect from 5 volts. As such, it's fairly quiet, but "literally no noise" in the product description is nonsense, of course. It's just stupid to try to claim. The blades reflect the LEDs well on the back so it looks better when used to draw rather than
