Great way to fix issues

Follow the instructions and everything works great. Make sure you use the correct tap. Buy a professional quality faucet, everything made in China seems too fragile and fragile.

Perfect for securing stripped aluminum threads

My OneWheel rails are made of aluminum and the screws are notorious for drilling holes. I had to sand some of them to a height of just 3mm but they did the job. Much more exploration than helicoil style inserts.

Better than Heli-Coil for my application

For my specific application (caliper mount) it was better than Heli-Coil. This was due to the thickness of the mounting material. Another advantage was the use of a standard size tap for the outside diameter. I actually had to grind down some of the insert material to match the thickness of the bracket. Note: take your time. when cutting external threads and use plenty of oil.

Great product Best of Threaded Inserts

This was just what I needed to fix a stripped thread in a cross member on my Jeep. After tapping the hole to the right size, they fit very well. The walls of the steering wheel are very thin and one of the inserts has slipped out. I was afraid that a thin layer of metal might not be enough for the plating to hold the insert securely. One worked as intended, the other I had to use with JB Weld and the other got fixed.

Good product and easy to install

I have to say I'm very impressed. I've read some shady reviews about outgoing helical coils and was disgusted at the high price of timesert inserts. This seemed like a good compromise as I already have a set of taps and dies. I inherited a basic mower that had some problems. I had cleaned the hole where the carburetor attaches to the engine block and wanted a solid insert because of the high vibration. Time will tell, but I think it fits. Installed easily and was able to safely fit the…

It's awesome!

I bought these by spending $40 on a coil repair kit at my local auto parts store which was a waste of time and not the best quality. I bought a Q drill and an M10 tap and these bits are very easy to use. My only concern is that the Loctite never cured, I've used them in aluminum and they've tried to loosen by simply hand tightening the bolt after they've cured for 20 minutes, so I used Permatex Red Loc removed and applied. -tite and that solved it. In general, I will use either these inserts or
