I bought these by spending $40 on a coil repair kit at my local auto parts store which was a waste of time and not the best quality. I bought a Q drill and an M10 tap and these bits are very easy to use. My only concern is that the Loctite never cured, I've used them in aluminum and they've tried to loosen by simply hand tightening the bolt after they've cured for 20 minutes, so I used Permatex Red Loc removed and applied. -tite and that solved it. In general, I will use either these inserts or thread inserts for every thread repair from now on.
