Although this imaging drum is inexpensive, after only a month of operation, the computer keeps telling me to replace it first. This means some bugs in the system at a very early stage.

VERY satisfied! I've had a Brother MFC-8660-DN for probably 16 years and it's a little workhorse for my home business. This is only the second time I have had to replace this part, which the manual says should be done regularly. My copies came out with black roller marks on the right side of the page. Pooh! Not too professional! Videos on You Tube did not help. That worked! No more tags! HOORAY!

For the price, it suited me very well. However, be careful. I had two problems with this drum. 1. The drum I bought from EZ Ink started doubling and streaking after almost a year of use. We use the printer quite a bit, but the original drum has lasted much longer with the same usage. The drum shows lines that were not on the previously used drum. 2. After installing this drum unit, paper jams will occur in duplex mode when printing on the other side of each page. Jams not always, but often…

Should have bought a long time ago. I've had my brother's printer for a few years now. He was always reliable and provided excellent service. The drums needed replacing, but I just couldn't get over my brother's asking price for such an old printer. I thought it would be better to buy a new printer. Then I found it! I doubted this wasn't the original but decided to take a chance. So glad I did! It was cheap and works great. New life was breathed into my old printer and I saved a lot of money.

This photoconductor is easy to install, works great and is great value for money. Sits like a top, fits well, feels good.

I was one of almost 1/3 of the reviewers who found this drum useless and unusable. Such imperfect quality control should be enough of a warning, but I've learned my lesson. The drum created halos and ink spots on the paper, and no adjustment of the printer/copier settings helped. I wasted dozens of pages to give him a chance to clear up but to no avail.

There's nothing wrong with that. I don't understand how reputable companies can charge for what they do and sell it when it's working great.

Very easy to use. printer open. Take out the drum/toner. Remove the toner from the old drum and put it in the new drum. Put everything back into the printer. Closed the door. Then I printed perfect pages, including the first one. Couldn't be happier.
