Z SK20815 Threaded Stainless Installed Review

The drill bit provided was not suitable for the installation. I was too small for the external thread on the spool. I think they provided the correct 1/4-20 faucet. I needed 17/64.

The bolts holding the muffler to my log splitter were striped. The muffler wouldn't stay on and it was loud. The screw thread kit worked great. Proper drill, tap and installation tool were provided. Installation was easy.

Great set! Worked exactly as advertised and included everything I needed. (Assuming you have a wrench to turn the faucet and a screwdriver to drill, I had to reattach the starter to my snow thrower. The bolts had to go into the aluminum and all 4 had frayed over the years. This kit has performed extremely well Labor fixing it in about 30 minutes or less. It even includes a small tool to snap off the end of the insert that you use to screw them in. I'm sure this saved me over $100.
