My boat's trim pump was not removed due to corrosion. I had to drill a screw out of the manifold and damage the threads in the process. The EZ-Loc went in quickly and held up nice and tight with no high pressure leaks.

worked damn well! Bought a more expensive but cheaper kit from OReilly and it broke after the first coiled coil installation. Ordered this kit and installed 4 coils in a row with no problems! Smooth as a gravy sandwich

Great set! Works exactly as advertised. I was able to turn the entire aluminum engine block for the valve cover bolts in about an hour. Keep in mind that you will also need to purchase a T-handle to use the rethreading tool.

Works smoothly and perfectly with not only metal but also wooden materials. I don't know if the mechanical strength (which is the main issue for this type of product) is better or worse than "Helicoil". But that's not a problem, at least for me. Quite satisfactory.
