🌡️ Zacro Digital Heat Mat Thermostat - Optimal Reptile Heat Pad Controller for Seed Germination, 1-Pack (Black) Review

I bought it for two leopard geckos which I just received. I use it on a 20 gallon tank, I just wish I had a 30-40 gallon heat mat because 10-20 is a bit small. But the thermostat is easy to use and does exactly what it's supposed to do. (Update) It's been almost 6 months and it's still working great. I am so pleased with the product that I have purchased another for the second tank I am starting.

Very nice item. It seems the well made device is accurate and can be used for so many low voltage heating applications. I use my K&H Pet Products Snuggle Up Bird Warmer Medium/Large Gray 4" x 7" 10W available here on Amazon. I haven't had any issues with it so far and will update this review when I do. I found this product to have terrible accuracy which caused the leopard gecko tank to overheat, it jumped to 90+F when it was set to 78 F so I tried a 2nd electric thermostat, different make and model and it had the opposite problem, the mat under the tank not getting hot enough. I raised the tank a bit higher for extra ventilation and the Zacro electric probe temperature now matches the little yellow Zoo Med thermometer. I was delighted with this digital thermostat when it arrived just 2 days after I ordered it. The thermostat was. Ray is easy to program. I bought 1 of these in March. Due to COVID related things I was only able to receive my ball python and the rest of the settings this month (June 2020). It was in a box on the shelf and hasn't been opened yet. I wanted to plug it in so I could set up my heating pad and it said ERR. I went to plug in the heating pad thinking maybe something needs to be plugged in and it kept flickering from 77 degrees to ERR. The Zacro Digital Heat Mat Thermostat I bought last year in 2019 and am still using the one I bought in 2019 seems to be working fine so I bought a second one in October 2021. Unfortunately, the Zacro Digital Heat Mat Thermostat arrived with a small crack on the top of the case, so I had to use Gorilla Tape to seal the crack.
