Will not work on 2002 Honda Civic

I have tried two of these on my 2002 Civic. Both times gave a code P0336. I changed the wiring harness and even tried a different ECU. Nothing worked. That was until I tried the factory Denso CKP sensor. Then the working car is great.

Pros
  • ▲▲▲ZBN Crankshaft Position Sensor compatible with Honda Civic L4 1.7L 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005
Cons
  • Minor issues

Broken part in spare parts

This product is screwed with dowel pin, there is no installation play. Since I was making a timing belt I thought I would add a new one, after that it turned on the check engine light for the erratic crank signal. To do this, the control housing cover had to be removed again.

Pros
  • ▲▲▲12 months warranty. If there is any problem during the quality guarantee year, please feel free to contact us for a free and easy replacement or refund.
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Faulty/Not Working

Replaced a faulty original sensor on a 2001 Honda Civic EX with this new sensor which was also faulty. As a result, the shop charged $385.93 for diagnosis and replacement. I am not satisfied. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a Denso genuine sensor.

Pros
  • ▲▲▲ Matching part number: 37500PLC015 37500-PLC-015
Cons
  • High Price

The part did NOT work. on sensors

After spending several hours disassembling my Civic, installing the sensor and reassembling it, the car still wouldn't start! defect part! I know because I checked and received the same CODE from the car computer. I bought a more expensive replacement and the car started right away. It's a shame to take a broken part out of the box and do the job twice. live and learn

Pros
  • ▲▲▲Please check the equipment of your vehicle in the product description again to avoid a bad buy. And please keep the package in good condition if you want to return it.
Cons
  • Periodicity
