Door Height!: Office Furniture & Lighting

I couldn't use because the door height was 1/2 inch off the floor but the screw on the door had to be higher which left too much clearance for the magnets... ...

These doorstops are great, they feel heavy and strong. And they look great! The best part is that they are actually magnetic! I love them, great purchase!

Weak and without two important functions

Inability to adjust the magnet without changing its mounting position on the door. Also missing is a tab on the door piece that physically stops the mount once the magnet is in place.

So useful in office furniture and lighting

I bought them because I like to open the windows for fresh air but the wind slams the doors which is very noisy and annoying. That way I can get a cool breeze without popping. Easy installation!

Bum, it didn't work on my door!

I was very happy with it but unfortunately it didn't work on the door I bought it for! I live in an old house and the bottom of this door is too far off the ground for the magnet to catch it. If there was a way to mount it on the wall with a pedestal instead of the floor I would give it 5 stars but I ended up with another product that is designed a little differently and works with my door!

Sturdy product but not adjustable. Maximum distance between floor and door 1/4”

The distance between the two parts must be perfect. If the distance between the door and the floor is too large, the magnet will not take hold. Arranging the section attached to the door reduces adhesion. The screw holes are on the bottom edge, so you can now use screws if you place the holes lower than the bottom of the door. I would say the optimal clearance at the bottom of the door to the floor is less than 1/4 inch. Any more and this product will not work.
