Works great. There were no instructions included although this is a replacement remote and is different from the original but it works perfectly.

We have a 30 year old Sony DVD/VHS player but we couldn't find the remote control. We found this remote control and decided to give it a try. This remote worked great and saved our home videos!

I had high hopes for this remote control, but it didn't work from the start. Be careful with that. According to other reviews it doesn't work. I only tried it a few weeks after receiving it. I just hope I get it back.

Excellent! What a bargain for under $10 delivered to my door. Works great with my Sony RDR-VX525. I've been using it without a remote for a while, but convenience in life makes things great. Great product for $8, wow!

Bought, doesn't work. Revine switched to another, didn't help. The advert claimed it was compatible with my Sony RDR-VX555 but it didn't work. The remote control is either not compatible with my Sony RDR-VX555 or useless junk.

For the price I thought well maybe it might fit, maybe not but I have no choice. Without them, the deck won't work. The board is excellent. It came about a day after I ordered it. I put in two batteries and bam! Full functionality. Best purchase I've made this year!

Does not work with Sony RDR-VX525. The replacement was sent on time but didn't work either. As far as I know this remote control is not programmable as you can toggle its function from the standard "DVD3". So if your player was set to DVD1 or DVD2, this remote control will not work and you will not be able to access the menu to change it or restore factory settings. Hence it is useless. Do not buy.
