Calm. Best accessories and supplies

Plug and play. HVAC Tech recommends I have one. I installed it myself for 1/3 the cost. Checked the oven and it's been working fine ever since. Insurance against possible costly repairs.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Having problems

worth the price for accessories and consumables

if the AC motor had withstood the surge and failed, the HVAC technician came and fixed the motor, offered to fit a line filter which he could order for about $100. looked on Amazon, found the exact same product he was talking about and I installed it in less than 5 minutes. Lots of money saved.

Failed for no apparent reason along with thermostat output relay

Living in Florida I had many problems with lightning destroying electronics including one of my air handling unit ECM motors which are very expensive to replace. As a result of my misfortune, I installed two network filters for the whole house, two ZPRO and point filters for all electronics including the fridge and washing machine. In mid-January, when there was no electrical activity in the atmosphere, both VZPROs failed several hours apart with no visible signs of damage. In addition, the…

Decent insurance for an expensive engine!

I've had a Lennox oven with a Genteq fan motor for six years with no problems, but after doing a little research on the failure rates of these ECMs I decided to buy it as cheap insurance. It was only necessary to remove the lower front panel, reach to the right and pull out the motor cable connector, insert this adapter between the cable and the motor and connect the ground ring to the nearest chassis ground screw. Reattach the plate and stick a sticker indicating the installation of VZPRO for…

Engine ECU.

So many factors went into turning my ECM fan motor off during a miserable Texas summer a few months ago. I had some vents clogged (as I found out later this increases static pressure which is bad for the motor) and the power went out during a thunderstorm while the motor was running. What can happen in this situation is that if the voltage drops during a power outage, the motor will start drawing more current to compensate for the lower voltage. Additional current can set the electronics in the
