Used to remotely open front door at work. Nice clean industrial look. The box offers plenty of space for cables. The knob has good firm resistance - that's why it feels firm. Has been working great for four months now.

The thing is not weatherproof - on more than one level: 1. Rainwater penetrated within a very short time. and yes I installed it correctly with the o-ring in place and the cable entry properly sealed2. the supplied screws (to attach the light gray front to the dark gray back) were not stainless steel and rusted faster than I could screw them in, the entire switch stopped working within 2 weeks. Not recommended for any applications and certainly not for anything outdoors.

I installed this switch a few days ago which was simple and logical but I can already see the quality of the product. The outer case has a good thickness and looks like it can easily handle extreme outdoor loads. The case comes with a gasket, so it must be waterproof. The mechanical operation of the switch seems solid. No doubt when the switch is activated. I use it to open gates and am very satisfied with the quality and function of the switch.
