Great heater, does its job well. The screw broke off when tightening.

Quality heater from Zerostart, warms up the car well in the morning. I plan to use a timer to start the device in the morning. One of the downsides was that the mounting screw broke off when I was tightening the anchor with a small wrench. The screw could not be tightened, only a thread tore off. Pros
  • 1.8 m cable included

  • Can be retrofitted

Works perfectly as expected. Installation on my 04 Wrangler TJ was a bit tricky as the #1 freeze plug is blocked by the HP pump and A/C compressor. I was able to remove the HP pump, remove the A/C rear bracket and install the heater, leaving the compressor in place. It took about 3 hours from start to finish. Easy to install and works well

In current weather with temperatures in the single digits or below zero degrees Fahrenheit, I've used an oil pan heater that sticks to the pan with a magnet. It was becoming a chore to crawl under the car every night to turn on the heater, so I bought and installed this engine block heater. Installation was surprisingly easy. The biggest challenge was flushing and filling the cooling system. The actual installation of the heater was fairly easy. All I had to do was remove the air filter housing
