Poor packaging, missing caps, leaking paste

This polishing paste or lapping paste is worth trying, but I've had varying amounts of paste in each tube, some had the correct amount and others had much less, inconsistent amounts. Oh not to mention all the tubes are packed together in a ziplock bag and mine was specially packed with two tubes with no caps meaning all my tubes were covered in paste and a complete useless mess! Yes, this is the ideal case where you get what you pay for! Spend more and get quality pasta!

Does not cut very effectively

I spent 1.5 hours manually lapping two homemade aluminum lapping plates with 40 micron (largest) grit and only achieved <40% flatness coverage. I think it will go faster as my 500 grit (about 35 micron) Garnet sandpaper cuts through the aluminum base much faster when sanding blocks. The only conclusion I can draw is that there is little or no diamond abrasive in this product as it is either very diluted or contains less material. Five Star Finishes

Idk they work for me. I've seen reviews saying they won't scratch glass and the ones that are supposed to be thinner "feel rougher" (laughs good), but for $13 I gave it a try anyway. I'm glad I did. I use them for loading leather slings and they all work as they should. There are no new scratches as I work through them and the edge is getting cleaner and more polished so it's safe to say mine at least matches the grit on the labels.
