🌡️ 100-Watt Zilla Aquatic Reptile Heater for Terrariums up to 40 Gallons Review

I've had several of these, 5 turtle tanks. 3 exchanged for other brands. When they work they are good, but some have died.

I like the look and the idea but it doesn't work as well as I had hoped. The temperature in my turtle tank never exceeds 70 degrees with this 40 gallon heater.

This heater is pre-installed and therefore cannot be adjusted. It doesn't heat the tank to the set temperature, so it's a bit annoying. My turtle hides near the heater to keep warm.

I followed the instructions and it hasn't turned on for over a week. Not once. So now I have to do my best to fit the reptile until I find one that actually works.

gotta remember this is the one that works better. I've brought others and they just don't work. Many Thanks. The update stopped working two weeks after I made this first post. I ended up buying something completely different. I think you can only get a good one.😢😢😢

I like the way they say 40 gallon tanks but the fine print says 30 gallon max. Why are you trying to trick people into thinking it's 40 gallons when it's not? You can use this in a 55 gallon tank or a 75 gallon tank (previously it's only 30 gallons of water). This is a misleading advertisement.

I bought this heater because I bought one at a local pet store. And my poor little turtles suffered - they were so cold. So I installed this heater in their aquarium and now they are happy. The light comes on when it's hot and goes off when it's not hot. I like this function very much. I placed both heaters horizontally at the bottom of the tank and I think that works better than vertically at the side of the tank. I think it heats up the areas they visit the most, i.e. closer to the ground…
