Not enough UV for anole

I bought this for my green anole in a 10 gallon tank, the amount of UV it puts out isn't enough for the needs of the anole. He stopped eating and turned dark brown even when heated directly under a lightbulb. After deciding to spend a lot of money and getting a Reptisun 10 with a 5.0 bulb, my anole is finally eating again and looking much more alive.

Pros
  • Compact design allows use in low profile fixtures
Cons
  • Something different

Just a few weeks after

I bought this to add UV to my Eurydactylodes agricolae. The light is housed in a low-profile aZilla Fxtr Dual G9 light, along with a tiny 25W daylight blue halogen bulb, and I've set the light on a day/night cycle timer. I didn't use it until late March/early April. Today I noticed that the bulb is defective. The halogen lamp still works. I expected to receive bulbs for more than a month. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • it stopped working. Energy efficient only 6 watts
Cons
  • Not sure
