Cozy! to hit

This article is a great idea! I used this batting to make a jelly roll rug. Very easy to use and the sewing machine does it well. I used a denim needle and sewing the layers together was a breeze. Great size for handbag straps too. No more cutting cotton strips!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something

Great for jelly roll projects

I have tried this 2 1/4" product and the 2 1/2" product from Bosal Kahtadin. I preferred the Bosal product because it was thicker and wider. However, this impact roll is quite suitable and works well for jelly roll rug projects. While I prefer a wider batting I would definitely recommend this batter roll and if I can find it in a 2 1/2 inch roll I will definitely buy it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

NOT COTTON! in beat

If I could give 0 stars I would. THIS IS NOT COTTON! The tag and packaging says "cotton" but it's some kind of synthetic. The best guess based on the burn test is that it's a really cheap poly. There is no cotton at all. It's also very crunchy and chewy, even for whipping. Looks more like a heavyweight Pellon copy. Don't buy this junk :(

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
