Zipper Solution Large Ultimate Fixer Review

TOO SMALL - TOO WEAK to get the job done. I tried using them on my suitcase to fix an airline destroyed zipper. These drawbars "may" work on small bags, jackets, etc., but I would NOT recommend them for any type of luggage. Too small, too fragile.

VERY easy to use. It's MUCH more convenient than the cheap Chinese crap you see at Revain. They hold up well, are extremely easy to install and are mostly injection molded in the USA. I love how easily they grab my backpack's zippers. I am very happy with this purchase.

Don't worry you won't receive the pretty packaging shown in the Revain ad. It comes in a 2" x 3" manila envelope. Oh, and the "no tools" statement - well, I've used everything from a thumbnail to needlenose pliers - a bent paper clip, etc. "Easy" - only if you have the strength of a Herculean thumb - it has over Took 30 minutes. I wanted to replace the other side but I'll wait until it breaks. Given the frustration, I recommend only making one change per day.

Once you've found the perfect travel suitcase that meets the ever-increasing baggage requirements of airlines, you won't want to throw it away anymore as some items break due to the rigors of travel. Zipper Solution repair zippers are perfect for our trolley (Swiss Army Knife brand). When you get them you might be a little disappointed with the very simple look and feel of the trains, but they are easy to assemble, solid and do exactly what you want them to. Good value for money.

My biggest complaint about my large outdoor bags and laptop bags are the cheap zipper tabs, which quickly break off the zipper travel mechanism (connecting the two parts of the zipper). I've bought this product more than once, so the only way I can banish the zipper irritation is with a paper clip or singing. With heavy use, they really hold up and work. I cannot recommend this product highly enough if you have a broken zipper.

airlines managed to unzip both zips on the same flight (still wondering how!). Of course I didn't realize it until I got home and airlines require you to report any damage before leaving the airport (seriously!?!). So I searched (and read) for a replacement. They seemed to be the most suitable in size and type. They went on without much fuss (you'll need needle nose pliers, or jewelry pliers which I used to make it easier to slide the ring around and through). I don't know how durable or strong
