🐶 ZippyPaws - Adventure Life Jacket for Dogs - Red - 1 Pet Life Vest Review

This little guy is with us everywhere. Road trips, houseboats, whatever. This life jacket allows us to have a carefree time on the water. It's half grown and at 2.75 pounds the extra small size fits, but not for long. The jacket is well made and doesn't seem to bother him. Really good value for money.

Unfortunately we had to use this jacket on our last trip! But it worked GREAT! Easy to use, made from quality materials, and the "handle" on top serves multiple purposes. My only criticism is the part on the front that goes under the neck. It's a little bulky and my dog really didn't like that part of the jacket. But I know it was for her safety. Overall a great product!

I was skeptical at first because of the price compared to others and it seems so thin compared to our neighbor's jacket. It fit and worked well for our 10 month old Weimaraner (just under 70 pounds). He has room to grow. It didn't affect his movement in any way and he endured it well after the first test. In the water it floated/floated in shallow water (so far) and the handles worked well allowing me to easily grab and pull it to shore.

24" tall, medium. small doesn't fit. I have size XL for my old lab and it fits great not too tight. I wasn't sure how he would handle it because he likes to swim and we haven't gone in a while, but he was no different. As he suffers easily from arthritis and tires I felt we needed a life jacket and I am so glad I made the purchase. It definitely helped him stay awake and he could swim longer than without it. Updated 7/10/2019: I just put this vest on my dog at my mom's house and honestly I feel safer not putting it on my dog. When my dog lunged at him, she actually threw him onto his side. It scares me! My dogs can swim I just thought it would be extra security and I found they are much better off without it.
