Do not waste your money!

Based on my observations, this cable is cheaply made and poorly designed. The installation was difficult and time-consuming. The only positive aspect was the affordable price. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros and I do not recommend this product to anyone in need of a latch release cable for their vehicle.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use
Cons
  • Occasionally difficult to find in stock

Works best with cables

Installs on the tailgate of a 2005 E-250 van. A little fiddly to install, but that's not the product's fault. Just a tight fit that works in this space.

Pros
  • Tailgate Cable
Cons
  • Zero

Suitable for spare parts

It didn't look like the original, it rolled and rolled out, so to speak. Works well, a bit difficult to attach but I don't think it causes any problems. By the way, I had to watch some videos on how to remove the drive and cable. I almost ripped out the cable, that would have been a big mistake.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Doubtful
