🐈 Zodiac 13-Inch Breakaway Flea and Tick Collar for Cats Review

Lost within three days. I don't even know if they have worked for most of my cats. And those who kept them had no change in terms of fleas. I used a flea comb to test. They stink to high heaven. I don't even want to handle my cats there.

item works. Our cats both have fleas and we had them at home. We sprayed the house and they were still here and still on my cats after their drops. So put on flea collars and now both are flea-free and no longer itchy. Thank God.

My cat has a problem. I gave him one of those flea pills and bought him a prophylactic collar. I pulled the collar to activate it, but it must never have activated because the cat was scratching its head. The fleas weren't even an inch away from the collar. While wearing it, the poor kitten became infected. I will buy the Seresto that I should have bought.

The take-off is a great safety feature for outdoor cats. Luckily the collar worked when my cat hunted and climbed trees daily. As for the flea protection I would rate it good, it worked a little but not much! It's possible that the rain outside washed some of the chemicals off the collar, but it didn't do the job of preventing or killing fleas.

Not sure exactly where we're going with this collar. The cat is still itchy and has a few fleas around every now and then but even after two months and moderate vacuuming we don't really have an infestation I think. The floor is said to be "not lava" and the cat shows no signs of illness from wearing the collar as stated on the packaging. The people in the house don't bite, so maybe we win. Love the tear off feature to protect the cat.

Our indoor/outdoor cat has a medium to long coat and 99% of the time we found ticks on his neck and had to use a tick remover to get them off the poor guy's neck. Since (March 2016) we have been using the Zodiac Breakaway flea and tick collar, we have not found a tick on it and the collar came off once while it was on. Not sure how as we found it on the floor. Can't say much about flea control as my two cats got sick from it. They were on them for several days before any problems arose. A cat initially had slight stomach pains, but these gradually got worse. When my second cat also started getting sick, I realized what it could be. Our cat has been wearing this collar for almost a week now. She had her annual vet visit yesterday and the vet told us she was full of fleas. That does not work. Save your $$$. Unfortunately I have to say that Zodiac flea collars for cats are not worth buying. While diligence in combing the animals (2 cats and 1 dog), washing the bedding weekly and vacuuming weekly kept the fleas to a minimum, I bought Zodiac flea collars (2 for cats and 1 for the dog) as an extra tool. to keep these pests at bay until the cold finally sets in and they go away within a year.
