The switch worked But the terminals were supposed to be both pins as in the product photo but the switch I received had a contact terminal and a spade terminal which I had to replace with a contact terminal to connect it

I thought I would have to buy a new pump as it worked and wouldn't turn off I tried the switch. Worked great and saved me a few hundred bucks on a new pump I don't need. Just 4 screws and glue the wires. Take a picture to make sure they are back in the same place as the old one

My drain pumps run all the time due to the high water table and we are in a low location so my drain pumps work. The only thing that went bad is the switch from very frequent use. I have already changed my drain pump twice, which is very expensive. Luckily I salvaged the old pumps and then came across a YouTube video explaining how to fix them. I replaced the switch on a Zoeller 53 series pump. It's 3.5 years old (just out of warranty) and runs about every hour and a half. I noticed that the float didn't rise to turn on the switch as the water level rose. When I opened the top of the pump I found that the electrical contacts and switch were submerged in water.
