Multipurpose saucepan

Japan multifunction pot with good temperature control, easy to use and clean. It can be fried, fried, steamed, roasted, hot pot. I also like the look of the pot.

The last pot, the skillet, the last clay pot you'll ever need

I bought this because I wanted my wife to have her smoke pan fried and her throat Thai chilli outside instead of at home squeezes. Works great for that. What I didn't know until I experimented with this was the slow cooker. It roasts, fried, stews, it is a hotplate for other pots. It works side by side with my outdoor gas grill. Luckily, I recently gave my daughter all of my expensive Le Cruset items as family gifts. Now I have some very inexpensive pots and pans from Target. This thing saved…

Heats food evenly and quickly

The desire for home cooking that I grew up with led me to look for an electric skillet that doubles as a hot pot. I found this Zojirushi model based on many recommendations I read in gourmet groups and it definitely didn't disappoint. This size is best for 4-6 people. It's deep enough to hold enough broth for most meals - I've only had to refill it once - and plenty of meat and veggies. Once the broth boils, the pot maintains a constant temperature and quickly heats everything up. It's very…

This is to buy!

Just received yesterday and used last night. Even heating, non-stick coating and perfect cooking of pork chops. Used high-temperature plastic cooking utensils and did not scratch. Can't wait to use this for potstickers tonight! It's a little pricey, but you're paying for the quality. Supplied with shallow frying pan (steaks, chops etc.), deep frying pan for soups and stews (incl. steam insert), magnetic cable holder and glass lid. I will buy again and have already recommended it to my…

Fantastic product and lifesaver!

I have had a frying pan for almost 4 years. I bought this special pan to cook sukiyaki. This is a great unit. During this pandemic, my stove submerged and stopped working. My mechanic had to order a part that costs about $300 and of course he won't be fixing my furnace any time soon. Well I got my device out and have been using it since March. I can cook almost anything. I use a simmer plate and the plates are great for cooking too. I can cook multiple dishes at once in one pan, like eggs and…

Pros
  • Not cheap but neat

  • Some flaws

Fanatastic Appliance

I've had this appliance for 3 months now and I'm sorry I waited so long to purchase it. This is a fantastic electric skillet and pot combo. I can cook potato pancakes in a pan and make soup in a pot. Inserts are lighter, easy to clean and wipe dry. To be honest I had a front burner problem in my gas range that cost $350 to repair or replace a 20 year old cooktop. This item has enabled me to get over 80% of my cooking needs and I no longer miss this gas burner. I think this would be the perfect…

Zojirushi products are generally excellent

Zojirushi products are excellent overall. Others have covered pretty much everything, so I'm just offering my point of view on a few issues that haven't been discussed in detail. If you're on the borderline between this model and the smaller PBC10, the extra compartment alone is worth the extra expense. Assuming the pan lasts as long as the pan (which is probably true), the pan will last twice as long. Regardless of the cost, the 12-inch size of this model is the most useful and versatile pan…
