🍦 Zoku Classic Pop Molds: 6 Easy-Release Popsicle Molds with Sticks and Drip-Guards, BPA-Free! Review

I've waited a while to post this product review to see how the Zoku popsicle molds are working overtime. Unfortunately some of the molds have decayed, cracked or broken since we first got them and we don't use them regularly. The sticks and green ice cream mold holder are in good condition but without the molds themselves standing the test of time I have to give this one a lower rating than I was hoping.

PROS: I liked the look of this and how it sat securely on the freezer shelf. CONS: I have to give this one 2.5 stars unfortunately because when you try to eat them, they DROP everywhere. In addition, the design of the stick prevents you from reaching the bottom of the popsicle when you reach the bottom, which is very annoying. So sad because I bought 2 sets as I have 8 people who love popsicles. I'm trying to make our own to save money and cut down on sugar! We're going to try another variety.

These pop shapes have one major design flaw which is confusing when you consider how well designed they are in every other way. The sticks are completely smooth and don't have the standard 'notch' that prevents the stick from sliding out of frozen fruit/yogurt/whatever so it slides out every time. I wanted a silicone pop mold. There's nothing silicone about it - although the materials listed show silicone and other reviewers seem to have confused the clear plastic inserts with silicone. I ordered these popsicle molds in the mod pops version. It comes with hard plastic cases, not silicone cases. Obviously this is a quality product but there are downsides too.
