like a normal circuit.

just received this today and replaced an old rusty chain that I've neglected for a while. with the main link everything went very easy and i even rode my bike quickly. It was a smooth sail! Can't comment on durability as I just received it so I'm hoping it will last a while with proper care.

Very strong chain, suitable for drivetrain components

I use it on an e-bike that has had chains skipping all the time. It was really crazy how much this chain exaggerated. I still think it's more of a transmission issue, but these chains are strong. That's enough for an e-bike, although it's equipped with a hub drive, it still works great. I have confidence in this chain and I will most certainly need to replace or change the rest of the drive train on this bike.

Pros
  • Sports and outdoors
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Don't waste your money

I have a mountain bike with 24 gears and 8 chainrings. This chain was pretty noisy from the start and shifted on its own, no matter how I adjusted it the problem didn't go away. When I bought another brand and installed it everything was fine, it only switched when I wanted to and it was quiet. Both chains are the same size and are advertised to work with 8 rear sprockets.

Excellent chain - parts and components

Last November I bought a new chain for my beach cruiser from a bike shop. After 600 km it was completely worn out. It must have been a used chain. So instead of trusting the bike shop, I bought it online again. It arrived in about three days and I put it on the bike. Shifts are now much smoother and quieter, and I like the polished links. Can't comment on durability as I just got it. Beach cruisers need longer chains because their frames are longer. The standard chain is 116 links but I needed…

Shot 3 times for Gear Components

I can see the ratings are very high for this chain which is why I decided to try this instead of Shimano. I found the chain a little light and unreliable, but installation was easy. At first the feeling wasn't smooth because I think it was new. I ride 15-20 miles everyday, uphill/downhill, hard running. Two weeks after installation, the chain burst on the climb. The pin is gone (not sure if the pin was broken or just came out. Anyway fixed with a quick connect. 2 weeks after the first incident…
