Huge! Not wet sand proof.

I finally was able to make it out to the lake to test this out. So you have to understand this isn’t a "blanket” in the sense that it’s going to be comfy to sit directly on. It’s a thin, nylon type material akin to weather resistant jackets. I used this as a bottom layer for under our towels, setting our cooler on & beach bag to protect it from the sand. It is HUGE. It comes with 4 small metal stakes I used to keep it in the sand, which worked well. I didn’t need to use the sand pockets. After…

Excellent windproof and waterproof. Pouches instead of corner pockets. Sewn in long, single rows

I took off a star because the sewing is not reinforced: single thread hem, even at the corners. I expect the parachute nylon is going to last, but the sewing for the seams, pouches, and stake loops will not hold up.I already have several "beach blankets" (I guess that markets better than packable, lightweight ground cloth or trap) all smaller than this one. I used this on the beach. It was bigger than I thought and there was enough room for me and my husband to sit on and enjoy watching the waves.

Very spacious! Largest and most cost effective

Best value from what I found shopping around.Easy to fold up and repack. Wiping up messes is easy.It's very thin, so if beach or ground is rocky/bumpy, you will need towels, blanket etcSuper convenient to leave in the trunk of the car or take it with you while on the go!

Nice big beach blanket

This is a good way to create a little bit of a barrier region between you and the sand. You can flop this down and then put your towel out on top of it, and then you've got a nice sand-free zone at the beach.Honestly though, I think this is better as a picnic blanket than a beach blanket. This is perfect for staking out a spot for Concerts At The Park or whatever.I like the convenient bag. This folds up and doesn't take any space at all in my trunk. It's there whenever I need it.

Great for keeping sand out of the tent

Took this camping and am very happy how it stayed it place, was easy to sweep off, and kept the sand out of the tent ! Was very easy to shake off and fold up at the end of our trip. The material was sturdier than expected and looks as good as new after using it for five days.

Not sand proof on my review.

Sand stuck to it. Definitely not sand proof. I love the size but not sand proof, we tried to shake it all off but it wasn’t coming off, so we returned it.

Poor quality - not durable - not well made

Bought this in the beginning of July, and first the storage sack ripped. Then the sand pockets which keep the blanket secured ripped. The size is huge which is great but it is so poorly made it’s basically disposable. Seams are coming apart easily. Sand pockets are also difficult to fill. Would not recommend.
