Glass. Imported. Heating and UVB in one snazzy package. Compact Fluorescent provides UVB for vitamin D production and calcium metabolism. Repti Basking Spot Lamp's “double reflector” focuses 35% more light/heat in the beam than other reflector bulbs. Compact Fluorescent helps to prevent Metabolic Bone Disease commonly seen in captive reptiles at 6-12 months of age. Compact Fluorescent emits UVA which is seen by reptiles and helps to increase activity levels, appetite, and reproductive behaviors.

Great Basking Lamp for Reptiles!

This is an amazing basking lamp for your reptile terrarium. It provides the perfect amount of heat so your pet can bask comfortably. It also has a fluorescent bulb that enhances the colors of the reptile. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey but it's worth investing in quality pet supplies. Overall, I highly recommend this product if you want to provide optimum basking conditions for your pet reptile.

Great bulbs, UVB NOT standard size

The only complaint I have (hence lack of reading on my part) is that the UVB bulb is really long. longer than my shadow, but we still found a way to use it. The price for this double pack is great. Zoo Med has always made quality products so I knew I was getting quality when I ordered them.

Zoo Med Heat and UVB Basking Spot Lamp

This was the wrong combination for my Zoo Med Double Dome lamp. Reading is essential because it would save me a lot of trouble and some money. This combo seems to consume too much power to work together so it was my fault they failed. Both light switches were on, so when I screwed in the UV lamp, the bulb worked. The incandescent lamp burned out immediately, and the UV lamp burned out shortly thereafter. Again, this is not the right combination to use in the Zoo Med Double Dome lamp. The UV…
