Enlarged calcium block. My little turtle doesn't care

I bought this product for my little turtle and he doesn't care at all I even tried to break it down into smaller parts. It got wet and turned dark green so I guess I'll have to throw it away. I'll try again when it gets bigger

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

My box turtles have not touched these

I am embarrassed to rate a product so poorly. It's the tortoise speaking, not the tortoise. I have four turtles (two ornamental desert box turtles and two Asian box turtles) and none of them have tried it. I tried cutting it in half to see if that would make a difference. It's not like this. I will not buy this product again.

California desert tortoise won't touch its

My tortoise lives on the street. I put the first one on the food block before feeding it normal food. He just sniffed and left. But the next morning (while he slept) something else took him. So this time I put the 2nd block in his hole. He just passes. I pulled it out. I broke off a few pieces and put them with his food. He just ate around him. For my turtle it was a waste of money. But for a rabbit or squirrel they put on a party lol

Good choice! on Food

After reading other reviews of turtles not eating this product, I was pleasantly surprised that my box turtle loves it! She hit the ground running as soon as I put him in a cage - healthy, helps with excess beak growth, and full of much-needed veggies. Honestly, it depends on the turtle, every pet is unique. But if your tortoise loves fruits and vegetables, they will most likely like this product (usually adult tortoises). The younger (teens) prefer a "meatier" diet so I'm not sure I would…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Frequency
