Good install. The included 100 watt light bulb is too hot. The lamp itself (ballast) exploded in the first week of use. Bought new. The lockable lid is practical but cheap. Overall, this is a decent setup for my daughter's corn snake.

Some of the items in this set are useless if you have a large snake but are great for corn and rat snakes. The fur that comes with it is more suited to a baby tortoise or tortoise, the water bowl is very shallow, and the aspen litter isn't my choice for snakes. Still a great set

Item arrived but glass is broken. We didn't open it to see if there was anything else damaged, just put it back in the box. Please be careful when ordering this as it has really got me into a stalemate. My son's ball python now only has a small enclosure and I have to wait 7 days to get a refund and I needed that money to buy him a new enclosure.

I am using this product for my son's python ball snake for his birthday. I paid $174 for it and it shouldn't have any cracks at all. I'm disappointed in him. Everything he said would be inside him. Maybe that's why the cracks appeared, because the objects weren't fixed in it, they jumped around in the glass.

The tank had a large broken edge. Since this tank is for my 7 year old I had to run to the store to get some glue to try and seal the chip so she doesn't cut herself. The tank was securely packaged so I can only assume it was sent with the chip and the chip didn't get stuck in transit. The heater under the tank doesn't work either. Very disappointed as I have always bought ZooMed products for all my snakes and lizards.

I got this for my ball python, I personally don't use the aspen litter provided as it can get in the snake's mouth and the 100 watt light bulb needs replacing , as it heats up too much and the snake can cook slowly. I'd go with a 40 watt snake for myself, but all snakes are a little different so talk to your breeder or pet store if you're new to this, or shop around. on-line. Everything is great inside! I was so excited he almost made it in one piece. until I opened it. All sides were intact as it was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. The internal parts and the bottom were not taken into account, it was completely broken. The included treats were poorly attached and combined with poor handling = very broken glass. Even on the outer packaging, there is nothing to indicate that it is glass. I'm still debating whether or not to ship them back because my corn will…
