Bought for another purpose but works great

So I bought it for a completely different purpose. We bought a used wire birdcage and refurbished it, but there was no tray below. Being a 16.5-inch square, it was an odd size and we couldn't find anything that fit. I bought a 16 x 16 floor and it's perfect! The plastic is a bit thinner than we'd like, but it's not exactly designed for that either. Plus it's amazing!

Pros
  • Holds a variety of reptile substrates as well as excess moisture.
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Litter, sand and terrarium substrate - what I need best

Used in Reptibreeze XL. It holds the extra water our chameleon needs when spraying 24/7. It doesn't drain, so don't buy if you expect an easy solution to your drainage problems. But it is easy to pull out, empty and clean regularly. It's definitely better than the flimsy bottom piece that the Reptibreeze comes with. Note. If you put a cage with large plants on the floor, it will not be easy to move it in and out to empty the water.

Pros
  • Made from durable materials for a long service life.
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Sturdy but does not fit as expected

Much more rigid than expected, not flexible at all. However, I don't like that the edges of the substrate tray aren't flush with the edges of the Reptibreeze it's made for. There's a significant gap, as the edges of the tray actually slope slightly instead of rising straight up. Depending on how you feed and what you feed, the crevice is used tediously by crickets, which easily get trapped and eventually die there.

Pros
  • For use with Zoo Med ReptiBreeze Reptile Cage and Zoo Med ReptiBreeze LED Deluxe Reptile Cage (each sold separately).
Cons
  • Clarity

. I wish it was a little more durable it's quite a thick tray but it would be nice if it had more support in the material and a bit more weight it feels like a slightly heavier plastic on some - something coated. I really want it to come with some spacers because I have an egg crate platform that rests on it so I had to make my own "risers" to support the egg crate. For the premium price paid and for being a reptibreeze brand, you would expect them to include everything you need to support…

Pros
  • Easy to remove for quick cleaning.
Cons
  • I could have opted for a newer model
