Both bottles were individually wrapped in a thin plastic bag and packed loose in a much larger mailing envelope. For what this product does, it's great and does it well. If I were the director of a reptile rescue and recommending a dechlorinator that removes both chlorine and chloramines from tap water I would recommend Repti-Safe as the best as I have done before and after strip testing and it does indeed reduce chlorine and chloramine levels .
