Cheap plastic in children's bikes and accessories

The build was simple but short-lived. I bought it for my son's 20 inch bike. It let us down the first time we used it. It was awful, after 20 minutes of our bike ride around the area the plastic around the wheel broke. My husband had to ride his bike home to pick us up.

Compatible with original

When a training wheel broke on our daughter's bike we bought it and it was almost identical to the training wheels that came with the bike. Since they were very similar, we just replaced the broken exercise bike and kept the other as a spare. Has worked well so far

Can not be used on the chain side

I loved them, but the design makes the rear axle so thick that I could not use the chain-side locking bracket and still get the nut. to catch. Attempted 4 fast rides (20 pedals or less) with the chainring side with no brace but it slipped and scratched the paint on the frame. This design would work well for a bike with a longer axle bolt, but it wouldn't work for us.

We bought another set of training wheels, but the mount was unreliable and the wheels kept bending. I gave them a try and was quite impressed on most levels. Despite the lack of a corner post to increase stiffness, the flex held up very well, even when tipping to one side with his full weight. I've been using them for a few months so they've gone their way. What I…
