Beware of Customer Service

Fixed I can only conclude that their gear is bad and that they are using this tactic to discourage returnees. I will NEVER do business with this company again and would advise anyone looking for CCTV cameras to look elsewhere - follow my original post - 8 port unit came out of the box with a bad port, I kind of ignore it because I only have 7 cameras. I proved the blocking was the problem by switching the wiring from a working camera to a port I thought was bad. This camera stopped working, but

Good DVR for most, not for me.

I bought this to replace my existing DVR. I used the Defender system. I wanted a higher resolution side camera interface and got it. I lost a few functions in the process. These are the features I would like to see in the DVR camera. So pros and cons. Pros: * It has a higher resolution than the system I had. * It was pretty easy to set up on my network and access the system from the outside. * I got the browser to work without breaking security. Cons: * When playing this system from any of the…

Remote access is a gamble, don't waste your time.

*** SECOND UPDATE *** Technical support for this device has been very patchy. After they updated the android app to allow remote access, it worked for a few days and then all remote access stopped after performing another app update on my android devices. This DVR is going in the trash. It's totally useless. *** FIRST UPDATE *** After almost 19 emails to Zosi support, they finally updated their mobile app. My client can now view their cameras on their Android phone via the cloud. It would be…

**Updated** Great replacement for Q-See or DVR.

4 stars discussed but decided it was unfair because of the price it's great for its price. I recently had a Q-See system crash due to the motherboard not providing power to the hard drive. I think I paid over $700-800 at Costco at the time and only had it for 1-2 years. Not wanting another cheap system I started upgrading my DVR to a POE IP camera system but as a last resort I needed something so I decided $60 was what to lose. Got the device, plugged in the coax cameras, monitor, LAN, etc. and
