Excellent PFSense box right after updating the drivers.

I bought one of these to turn into a PFSense router. The form factor is extremely small. It's smaller than my Motorola cable modem, which is great because I want my network hub in my house to be small and tidy. The minimal power consumption is a plus compared to an old PC converted into a PFSense box. 90% of the time this thing is flexible as it has cool fan curve settings built into the BIOS. The only time I've heard a fan was when I was making the most of my gigabit internet when transferring

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Fantastic calculator.

This is a fantastic computer. With it you can make your own candy bar with a nice big monitor. Or just leave it on your desk right in front of you for quick access to various ports. I've had it for about two months now and I've had absolutely no problems. I'm a bit worried about the heat in the summer without air conditioning, but with a room temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, the CPU temperature is around 52 degrees Celsius. Interestingly, most of the heat exits out the left side, rather…

This is a great little Linux box

This is for MI-527, these reviews are grouped with similar products. Gates. Running Ubuntu 17.10. I bought this as a little play machine for my son to use to learn arithmetic. It's very fast for its size. I also have a Zotac CI-327, the MIs are basically the same form factor as the CIs but the case is slightly different and they are fan cooled. Still pretty quiet, I don't notice it's running. If you have a VESA rear wall monitor that isn't blocked by the stand, it attaches to it to make…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Nice little box in desktops

Nice little box. I use it as a firewall with pfsense and am very happy with it. It works 24/7 and I haven't had any problems. The only thing I haven't tried is WiFi as I use 2 ethernet connections. Once it's moved, I mount it to the back of the monitor using the included Vesa mount. I've tested the mount before and it works perfectly.

Pros
  • glittery
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Nice little box

Nice little box. The only downside for me is that it doesn't have VGA, so I have to use an HDMI to VGA cable for non-direct HDMI monitors. I've hooked it up to a network with some slower Celeron Zotac processors and it's a fast server. Ubuntu 16 installed on it with no problems and has been working without problems for a few months now.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Problem

Amazing Platform for Mac OS

This is the cheapest fully modular hacking platform yet with integrated Thunderbolt 3. Product screenshots do not show any upgrade options. Compared to the NUC, this even allows you to remove and replace the included Wi-Fi card! Highly recommended for all OS X projects at a reduced price (when it's back in stock :)

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Protection
