The case is a solid construction with nice padding. Accessing the ports and buttons on the iPad is a little awkward. It seems like you can't just press a button and start turning on/off etc., you have to hunt and peck. It doesn't really bother me, but it does bother me that the iPad keeps falling in the standing position. I have a light touch and that was never meant to be. I prefer the folding and standing style.

I initially liked this iPad case. I liked that it has a strap to hold it up. After a while, a piece broke off at the top, which was normal because it wasn't affected. I've dropped it off the couch onto the carpet a few times from about two feet away. A few weeks ago one of the side edges came loose and I had to trim it off to keep it from scratching and cutting me. I was disappointed that it didn't last as long as I had hoped. The case I had for my previous iPad lasted over two years.
