    flexible and compact

    I use it to chop just about anything I need to cook with. The flexibility means I can just point anything right into the bowl or pan without having to haphazardly scrape the flat board. They are easy to clean and since they are very thin, they hardly take up any storage space. The only thing I would change is the colors: they come in red, yellow and green, but the green looks almost the same as yellow, which is disappointing.

    Nothing fancy and they move

    Very basic with a grid on the back but they move regardless of the surface every time I use them. They were chosen in the hope that they would stay in place while cutting. You are not. Knife marks on plastic are dangerous with prolonged use. I like colors that encourage the use of certain types of food (chicken or vegetables), but I'll probably forget and go with what's clean right now. It is best to buy similar products at a local store for dollars.

    Works well: cutting boards

    Good for cutting vegetables and even meat. It also has a slightly non-slip surface. The rug was a bit larger than I expected and I didn't need a big one (especially when I'm storing it in a small kitchen drawer). The rug was thin so I was able to cut it into a smaller version with scissors. Also, I had some extra rugs to keep them full size. All in all a good product and a good price.     Totally Biased 3 Things They Ask You To Rate. Yes they are Eastern in their purity, yes they are permanent, and yes they are permanent. THAT THEY ARE NOT FLEXIBLE.!     They work very well and really live up to their claims. I've had them for a few months now and use them several times a week. The lower part is adjacent to the tabletop and does not allow it to move while cutting. They are flexible to change shape as you move cut items into the pot/pan. We hand wash them and also put them in the dishwasher and the plastic material is still holding up (no cracks or warps).     Has two sides. One is spiked and gripped so it doesn't move around the counter, which works pretty well. The other side is the cut surface, which surprisingly has a textured finish. This made slicing very easy because the meat or whatever was left in place. However, it cannot be deducted because this texture includes food. I am taking a star off my rating because they are stained, but this is a cosmetic issue and does not affect the functionality of the rugs.
