It can't hurt to work a little

It's pretty easy to use; however, it bends out of shape. I gave it up. Rather spend a little more for a better product. Update: I received an email from customer support after submitting my review a day earlier. No questions asked, they refunded my payment in full. You didn't have to do that as the return window closed a few months ago. I can appreciate a company that goes the extra mile to keep customers happy.

Great tool for the kitchen. Durable and easy to use!

I bought this because I wanted to make baked apples and the recipe was called 'seedless apples'. At first I was worried because it seemed cheap that after a few uses it would bend and become unusable. .To my surprise, it was very durable and the handle easily fit my large hands! It has a little lever to release the core afterwards and cleaning was as easy as can be! I highly recommend keeping one of these in your kitchen drawer!

Apple Corer does an excellent job.

This Apple Corer is amazing. With my apple it does its job perfectly. It is very easy to use and clean. The middle part where the core of my apple lies (once removed from my apple) is not sharp so peeling the part is even easier, not dangerous for my hands. The price is also very affordable. I will use it to do the same with my other fruits. I have no regrets buying it yet, and as an added "skill" it's covered by the manufacturer's lifetime money back guarantee as soon as I list it on their…

Glides over the apple like clockwork!

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this little tool. I have weak hands and figured I would have to press/twist really hard even though I would hurt myself with a jagged edge. I wasn't expecting much from such a low price but I gave it a try. I was wrong! This gadget is very easy to use and very stable in your hands. The serrated edge glides over the apple like butter. You don't even have to press hard - just twist and it does what it's supposed to do, almost by itself. Very easy to…

I'm in Love!: Fruit and Vegetable Tools

I have a slicer to remove the core from apples. Make apple slices. But I didn't want apple slices for my dehydrator. I bought it to make round apple rings. I was surprised at how easy it is to remove the core from my apples. It doesn't take much force to push the core through the apples. It's easy to remove the core and seeds from the core, and it's also very easy to peel! I ended up removing the core from my homemade apples and dehydrating them. I now have a bag full of homemade dried apples…

Total rubbish don't waste your money

I bought this to make coring apples easier and quicker as I am severely dehydrated. This product was not assembled well. The rivet holding the jaws in place was bent out of the box causing the jaws not to close properly. Anyone who cors apples knows that a drawstring that isn't straight will simply break the apple in half. Serrated teeth are not as sharp. It takes a lot of effort to push it through the apple. I tried it on Honey Chips, Granny Smith, Mac and Gala. Too much power than I thought…

Penetrates to the core

A wonderful thing arrived yesterday and last night I made a pioneering apple pie from puff pastry in no time at all, which requires four very thinly sliced apples . I've used a round-cut apple slicer for the core for decades, but ended up having to cut out some of the core from the resulting slices. With this corer I can send it straight to the core and it comes out almost right. I'm quite old and my arms aren't as strong as they used to be, but I was still able to use the release lever which…

Much better design in theory than in practice

I make applesauce for my kids all the time. I do a batch about every two weeks, which means I core a dozen apples each time. I was really looking forward to replacing my stock core (a simple solid one from OXO or a similar brand). This design looked great and solved problems with a simple one: a large handle that can be pushed down (useful for my stunt knuckle) and jaws that open to make it easier to push the core out (I hate pulling it out too have to). But the reality was that only the big…
