I'm in Love!: Fruit and Vegetable Tools

I have a slicer to remove the core from apples. Make apple slices. But I didn't want apple slices for my dehydrator. I bought it to make round apple rings. I was surprised at how easy it is to remove the core from my apples. It doesn't take much force to push the core through the apples. It's easy to remove the core and seeds from the core, and it's also very easy to peel! I ended up removing the core from my homemade apples and dehydrating them. I now have a bag full of homemade dried apples. I enjoy snacking on them throughout the day and adding them to my oatmeal for breakfast! (After I cored and sliced the apples, I soaked the apple rings in lemon juice and cinnamon. The lemon juice keeps the apples from browning. And the cinnamon gives the apples a little spiciness. Delicious!)
