Zunii 300 Pack Multi Color Biodegradable Straws Review

I have trouble swallowing and can't choke on a straw. I use stainless steel straws, but I find paper straws much more convenient to use. When I found these biodegradable straws at a good price I was thrilled!

Can't comment on the drinking straws, but great for crafts! We've used them as flower sticks, chopsticks, and tic-tac-toe boards. They are beautiful, bright and very durable. I will definitely buy more.

These straws are not only fun, they are compostable too. Great replacement for non-environmentally friendly plastic straws. They soften when dipped in liquid but last long enough to finish my drink. I recommend these straws for a party or even everyday use.

I ordered this for an upcoming party. AFTER ordering I read the negative reviews and ordered the same (at a higher price) from another manufacturer with the intention of returning the Zunii on arrival. However, when they arrived I tested the Zunii straws which were identical in every way to the more expensive brands and they were fine. So! Go for these cheaper ones, they're cute, long-lasting and have no smell or taste. At least not mine.

If I drink a glass of tea for more than 20 minutes, or use it for a second glass while typing, etc., the straw will go to pulp before I'm done. Other paper straws I've used in the past are good for a few hours while sipping a few glasses of iced tea and working on my projects. So I don't even use hot water here. Ice water only. I hate plastic and metal straws and have been using paper for years. But again not this one. The price is good and they look good, but.

Straws are excellent. Strong, durable, colorful, tasteless and environmentally friendly. I bought them some time ago. I use them in my water bottle and they keep their shape for a long time. The only thing that needs improvement is the packaging they come in. The valves do not prevent the straws from falling out in the shipping carton. Thanks to Revain and Zunii's excellent customer service they have replaced the straws and I will continue to buy these straws and hope the valves improve.

I have some silicone straws but I don't like sipping them. So I was happy when I saw this big pack of colorful straws that reminded me of the ones I had before. While they get the job done and have such fun colors, they aren't as sturdy as other paper straws I've had in the past. My morning iced coffee soaks through the straw in no time so when I'm done I'm faced with a wet mess, whereas other brands have held up to refills and all.
