🥗 Effortlessly Fresh – Zyliss Easy Spin Salad Spinner: Large, Green/White Review

No really, it can be deadly. This salad bowl is very poorly designed. As the romaine was spun, some of the protrusions at the top of the basket broke off into very small REALLY SHARP little shards that ended up in the lettuce. The basket is light green which made it impossible to see them but we felt them as they ground our teeth and cut my sky! It's scary to imagine what will happen if you swallow them? super scary! DO NOT BUY THIS!

We had a version of this guy that was over 5 years old and he rolled a million salads. When it finally broke down, we decided to stick with the Zyliss as the latter was so good. The design of this one is different from our previous one. The thread fully stretched in just a few weeks. A channel was cut through the spinner's plastic body before the line was pulled, so this new design appears to be flawed. Went to another brand which I honestly don't like as much as our old one. Very disappointed with this spinner. I used an older model from this company for many years until the string tension wore off. I ordered this based on previous success with this company's spinner. Complaints about this new model It doesn't spin like the old one and adding a fourth part and restyling doesn't work. this. The handle of this product is terrible. The original design was much better. It's counterintuitive that you have to pull in the opposite direction from the handle's stowed position, and if you're not aware the cord will cut into the plastic. Sure, it looks good, but fire your current design engineer and rehire the person who designed the original (which still features in some marketing materials, by the way). It amazes me that this is such a difficult product to develop. OXO is terrible too…
