I was pleasantly surprised with this unit's performance. I've had a similar ratchet that cost me practically double for just the body not including the battery and i honestly cannot make a case for the extra money vs performance based on the differences such as performance and build wise. Note that these are not meant to be used as hand ratchets and definitely not meant to break off rusted and seized bolts. The unit is very well built with a very crisp switch, which unfortunately does NOT have variable speed, it's literally an ON OFF button which goes from 0 to 230 rpm. The battery is bigger than the standard battery at 2000 mah but the lack of variable speed also means you'll be draining it much quicker than slower speeds. It's a nice kit with battery, charger, sockets, and rigid carrying case. This would make a perfect every day ratchet kit, ever since I've started using electric ratchets going back to manual just sounds painful!
