Armory is a wallet dedicated to only the protection of Bitcoin, the main characteristic of this wallet is that it has a cold pantry, this is a wallet for use on the pc but however you have to meet the characteristic for its use you must download full node software that allows to validate operations with the Bitcoin network.
The use of this wallet is personal, a third party does not have access unless the users authorize it, however this is not recommended.
I really like this wallet because with it you have total control over your assets, the security provided by this wallet is very good and offers a unique level of trust.
