Review on EInc Wallet by Paul Maduagwu

Revainrating 2 out of 5

EInc works, but is risky.

EInc Wallet is a web based non-custodial wallet. Users have access to their private keys and can restore their wallet through different ways such as, Mnemonic phrase, keystore file, private key etc. Being a web based wallet makes it a Con for me, because the same way the wallet seems to be a clone of MyEtherWallet, users can be fooled to enter their private keys or recovery phrase into a clone of EInc web wallet and lose their funds.
With this wallet users can manage their Ethereum, send and receive too. It serves as a simple platform to access the Ethereum blockchain. Personally I would not recommend this wallet to anyone because chances of phishing attacks are high.

Pros
  • Multiple methods to access/restore your wallet on the website.
  • Access to private keys.
  • Compatible with Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets.
  • Simple User Interface.
Cons
  • Looks like a clone of MyEtherWallet.
  • Web-based wallet which I feel is more risky.
  • No desktop or mobile version.
  • Only supports Ethereum blockchain.
